For years my husband and I left our pets at a local doggie boarding when we went out of town. As they started getting older and we moved I found it more necessary to explore options. It was then that I came across Jori and her pet care business. After meeting Jori, I was extremely comfortable leaving all three dogs in her care. Jori has been dependable, loving, and trustworthy. I wish we had found her years ago. She truly cares for our dogs like her own and is someone I would never think twice about coming and going while we are away. If you're considering whether or not  to hire her, do it! You'll never turn back.

Jori has been wonderful to our mini Australian Shepherd! When we first got  him as a young pup, my husband and I were trying to figure out a way to  let him out mid-day during the work week but it just was not feasible with our schedules and locations. We started to worry, but Jori came to us through a referral and saved the day! She has been with us since 2019 and has been very reliable and kind to our boy. She not only provides him his mid-day walk/exercise, but practices training with  him which we greatly appreciate. We know he enjoys the companionship of her dog, Soleil, too! 

          She’s worked with us through the behavior challenges that arise with raising a puppy and helped socialize him and build his confidence.  We know that he is in the best care possible with Jori and we couldn’t be more thankful. We also love the daily pictures/updates she provides!  Jori is a true professional and we can’t recommend her highly enough!

We have been so pleased with Jori and staff. We have a cat, Doug, and a dog, Charlotte, and have relied upon Jori numerous times since we found her in 2015. We'll continue to do so any time we have to travel.
     Upon meeting us, Jori was thorough in her preparation to meet schedules and needs for our pets. She is responsive and communicative, and even sends us pictures and updates at every visit while we're away. Not only can we rest assured that our pets' basic needs are being met, we also know they're receiving attention, love, and care. Doug and Charlotte are  always doing great when we return from our travels.

Jori, who was recommended through a friend, has been a god send. We recently  moved to the Raleigh area and had to travel quite a bit this fall. Our lab/whippet mix, Annabel, had never been left at home and we had many concerns. Jori quickly put our minds to rest and Annabel just loves her.  We always come home to a happy dog and a neat house. I highly recommend Jori. We feel very lucky to have found her!

We met Jori in April 2016 after adopting our puppy from Franklin County Pet Rescue. The adoption happened so fast and we were nervous about leaving him since our work schedules can be unpredictable. We found Jori online and invited her to our house to get to know her. Upon meeting her, my husband and I knew we found Jake's dog sitter. Jori has visited during lunch at least twice a week every week since April 2016 and has done multiple overnights when we have been out of town. She consistently sends us pictures to let us know he's okay, provides updates, and teaches him commands. We completely trust her and feel so lucky to have her. We were heading out of town for a wedding in October when Jake  became ill. My husband was the best man and we were literally on our way  out. We called Jori last minute and she visited as much as she could to give Jake his medicine and give him extra company. We are so appreciative of Jori and would recommend her to everyone!

Jori is wonderful. She has taken care of my two cats for more than five years now. I have peace of mind knowing she is genuinely caring for Lulu and Tucker. Lulu doesn’t always like to eat, and Jori watches closely to make sure she is eating while I’m away. Tucker is terribly  shy and hides in the box springs of the bed with anyone new. Jori crawled under the bed so she can do a visual on Tucker and make friends with him. He has since become very comfortable and runs out to say hello to Jori. She is patient and caring, reliable and responsible. Most recently, I was out-of-town caring for a seriously ill  sister and I had to keep adding days to my stay. Jori worked with me on the fly without hesitation. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found her.

My family was hesitant when seeking a dog sitter. Our dogs are our kids and we were apprehensive about leaving them. I messaged a few dog sitters. I ran across Jori in 2014 and set up a meeting. Jori strives to find out all the necessary information to make sure your pet  is taken care of. For example: When talking about our dogs, she was asking the question that I was just about to lead into. Jori is super responsive when we need a sitter. She will let us know when she will not be available so that we are able to plan ahead. Jori has been flexible when our plans changed and we needed her to change her time she checked on our dogs. She stays in good communication while we are gone so we know what's going on with our "fur kids". When things change with our dogs, we let Jori know and we are confident that she is able to take care of our dogs. If you need a great sitter, I definitely would recommend that you contact Jori.

Jori and staff has cared for my girls (cats) many times over several years for both short-term and long-term vacations. I always feel very comfortable leaving them in their loving, capable hands. They are also very good at keeping in touch with me while I'm gone and letting me know how my cats doing which is an added bonus. 

Appreciate the daily updates on my cats that they provide, particularly now that  my older cat hides from people. Jori and staff takes the time to find her in her favorite hiding place, making sure she's ok... means a lot to me. Highly  recommend Jori's services.

Jori is a wonderful person and pet sitter.  She has watched our cat Stripey Boy many times.  When Jori first started looking after him she came to the house and took great care of him.  The last 2 times that she watched him she spent a lot of extra time with him because he is getting older and I just did not want to leave him alone. This was not a problem for Jori as she was very agreeable.  Stripey is happy to see her when she arrives. I would recommend Jori to look after your pet.  She is reliable and very loving.  Jori has a sweet personality and it is evident that she cares very much for animals.

When we moved to Raleigh from Georgia, one of my biggest concerns was  finding someone to care for our dogs when we traveled or were away from  home for a long day. In Georgia, I lived by my sister, but here, I did  not have that luxury. I really was anxious about a "stranger" being with  the dogs - but Jori and Ceridwyn feel more like our dogs' best friends  than strangers! The dogs get SO EXCITED to see them, which is such a  comforting feeling when you are away from your fur babies. They send the  best updates (Ceridwyn is hilarious!) with the cutest photos of our  three dogs having a blast (and begging for dog cookies!) I really am  blessed to have found such amazing people to care for our dogs like  their own when we are not home. I am so grateful to them for all they do!

We cannot recommend Jori and her team enough! Our dog has a cerebellum  disease which effects his movements and coordination severely, and Jori and Kate didn’t even flinch when going over how to care for him. He requires close attention walks and we felt very comfortable leaving him in their care. We have gone out of town multiple times and for multiple days and we truly feel at ease. We are provided with picture updates of  each visit and a full paragraph summary of everything that occurred during the visit. Finding these services was such a relief and we truly can’t recommend Jori and her team enough!

Jori was recommended to us by a neighbor back in 2019 after we adopted our greyhound, Chicken. We use her team mainly for weekly dog walks.  Ceridwyn has been our regular walker for Chicken and he definitely loves her! He is a very quirky boy, but Ceridwyn knows how to work with him and is very patient with him. We know he is getting the attention and care he deserves when she comes. We highly recommend Jori and her team.  They will care for and love your pets as if they were their own.
